As prom begins to creep up on us, all girls, or most, begin to start worrying about what they are eating and how tan they are. This, to me, kind of boggles my mind; have you ever seen somebody loss the amount of weight that they want to lose in just one week?
Not many that I know of.
It starts to worry me in a way because many girls just decide not to eat the week of prom which is extremely unhealthy and gives you no energy to make it through the day, which causes you not to be able to do your school work as efficiently.
Also waiting to go tanning until the week of prom is not a good idea because if you go every day for one week, you are exposing yourself to too many UV rays and that can hurt your skin. I would suggest going once a week for about two months to spread it out and so you do not burn as easily. Tanning is not the smartest choice for your skin but if you are going to, you need to do it in a smart manner.
Prom is a big, huge deal to plenty of people; just be smart about treating your body right and not abusing rules just to look gorgeous for prom!
