T.R. Hughes ballpark to host Knights’ rival game

After a couple rain outs and being couped up inside for practices this past few days, there is much excitement among the Varsity baseball team. Friday the boys will play Howell Central at T.R. Hughes ballpark at 3:30 p.m. Every year,

the baseball team plays a game at T.R. Hughes and it just so happens that this years’ game is against one of their biggest rivals.

“I have buddies from Central on my team over summer,” junior Drew Rapert said. “I’m excited to beat them.”

T.R. Hughes ballpark opened in 1999 and is located in O’Fallon. The park hosts the River City Rascals minor league baseball team. There, you can support the Varsity team at 3:30 on Friday.
