The sun shone and bats rattled last night as the Varsity baseball team dominated during a home game. They defeated McCluer North 12-1. Senior Nick Conley started on the mound and junior Brian Bumpus relieved him half way through the game.
“[The game] went well, really well,” Conley said. “We kicked their butts.”
Although the boys won by 11 runs, Conley believed the team lacked power.
“The intensity of the game should have been better.” Conley said.
The boys take on Holt at home today, and play at Fort Zummwalt West Friday.
