Shakespeare class recreates, celebrates artists’ work

English teacher Beth Ramach’s Shakespeare class just finished reproducing scenes from the play “Much Ado about Nothing,” by William Shakesphere.
To recreate the scenes, the class wrote their own scripts and stage directions.

The class then went to the Mac lab to learn how to cut scenes and put music into a movie format.
“They got to pick if they wanted to make their movie modern or make it like it was originally produced,” Ramach said.
On Friday April 24, Ms. Ramach’s class celebrated Shakesphere’s birthday. The class celebrated by eating cookies, cake and playing pin the collar on Shakesphere. After all of the food and games, the class joined together to watch a comedy about Shakesphere.
“It was cool to see the never before seen picture of Shakespeare that was released today because of his birthday,” Ramach said.
