Whose the real role model?

Who do you look up to? An older sibling? A teacher? Now think about why you look up to them. Most likely, it’s because

of what they’ve done with their lives; they’ve made a difference in the lives of others. They’ve made a difference in yours. You probably want to be like your role model, do something amazing with your life, and have people look up to you. Guess what? People already do.
Whether
we know it or not, we have people looking up to us every day. It doesn’t just have to be somebody younger than you; it could be someone three times your age. There’s no age limit for admiring someone. We need to realize that our actions are seen by everyone around us, and everyone is going to interpret them differently. And if that isn’t enough, everything we say is going to enter people’s ears and swirl around until they’ve come up with their very own version of your words.
There’s always the “I don’t care what people think of me” mentality, but honestly, nobody wants to be looked at as a bad influence. All of those people who look up to you are going to think that your lifestyle is an acceptable one. If you blow off your homework, then they’ll think that that’s the cool thing to do. But if you do the best you can at everything, they’ll see your efforts and do the same. It’s all about seeing the big picture. The world is so much bigger than your own life. Although it’s important to take care of yourself for your personal needs, it’s also important for all those around you.
What you do affects other peoples’ lives. Being selfish means that you’re only worrying about your own life. Be the kind of person that your admirers really think you are. Help them become better people by helping yourself be a better person.
We’ve all made those mistake that make you cringe just thinking about it. But we’ve also made personal accomplishments
that really make you want to brag to the whole room. What you do every day not only affects you, but everyone that looks up to you. You are a role model. How do you look through someone else’s eyes?
