Beautiful weather and a huge turn out, Black and Gold day this year was a big hit. From 3-9 p.m. families, students, coaches and teachers attended this event to participate in activities, buy memorabilia and be a part of all the excitement.
“There is so much to do,” sophomore Dan Rosas said. “Families can come and see how much school spirit we have and participate in some really fun activities.”
A big hit this year were the new game day shirts designed by art teacher Zach Smithey. He drew all the knight drawings on the front and back of the shirts. Student Council sold the shirts all day for only $10.
“The game day shirts are really awesome,” junior Christy Maupin said. “I love the design and the pictures. I recommend that everyone get one.”
