Junior NHS Helps Out

Junior NHS set up about 500 chairs and 125 tables in the large gym after school on August 31 at 2:30 p.m. for one hour. This is for the sophomore PLAN testing tomorrow. Then NHS is going to tear down the chairs and tables at 1 p.m. tomorrow after school. The PLAN test is going to last all day for the sophomores. All students are to go to their homeroom tomorrow first thing in the morning. From there all the sophomores will go to the large gym for testing and everyone else will continue with their day.

“This test is a practice ACT test, but a shorter version that shows career information that students qualify for.” counselor Tom Daugherty said.

NHS is a big help in getting this all set up and ready in time for the sophomores and it helps them get their points for the year.

“It’s worth three points.” Abigail Oleshchuk said. “NHS is helping out because no one else will.”
