KOE to attend football game this friday

The Knights of Excellence have recently been attending games for various sports to support our student athletes and the Football game this Friday night will be no exception.

“We are handing out goodie bags and encouraging people to show up and cheer them on at games,” sponsor Diane Holmes said.

The Freshmen Class Mentors recently decided to join the KOE in their athlete appreciation efforts by working to increase school spirit and trying to pump up their freshman classmates for the games.

“They [the athletes] represent North; they go out there and work hard,” junior KOE member Chris Zerr said.

In addition to these two groups, the German Club has had a history of supporting athletes and performers of FHN by going to games and other events.

“Peers get to see that there’s a whole lot more going on other than knowing a student as someone they sit next to in 5th hour,” German club sponsor Frau McPartland said.
