On Sept. 9, the junior and senior women experienced their first powder puff practice of the year, for the juniors this will be their first chance to play in the game.
They learned the rules of the game and the various positions they had to pick from.
” I’m really excited to play cause it’s my first year and I want everyone to work their hardest,” Junior Katie Portilla said. “I think it’ll be fun and even funner if we beat the seniors!”
The seniors game last year was said to be “rigged” and has been said by numerous people, including a KOE sponsor, that the Juniors last year deserved the win.
“Like I was a little angry that we didn’t win but I got over it cause it was the best time,” Senior Kelsey Hieb said.
This year the seniors are coming out with a bang and expecting a big win.
“No offense to the juniors but we’re pretty much going to dominate!” Hieb said.
