Cross country meet expects large turnout

Cross-Country Today there will be a cross country meet held at Forest Park. Unlike every other meet, this one will be jam packed full of over 80 teams that will be racing for the gold. This is expected to bring plenty of competition to the course.

“Some of the top schools in the region are going to be there,” Kevin Stein said.

A highly anticipated aspect of the meet is that Brian Sell, an Olympian marathoner is going to be there. He will be signing autographs and taking pictures for a meet and greet session. There will be many other activities going on at the meet to try to get people involved with Sell.

“Hopefully they are motivated and inspired by him,” Coach Brooke Roe said.
