“Shanghai Knights” dance expected to please

This year’s Homecoming will be held Saturday Sept. 26 from 7-10 p.m. Tickets are currently being sold during lunches in the commons next to the candy table for $20. They will be sold through Thursday, Sept. 24.

The theme for this year’s homecoming is Shanghai Knights. Student Council decided the theme for this year’s dance at their annual breakfast meeting at the end of last year. They will be providing all of the decorations.

“I think some people are skeptical of the theme,” senior Stuco president Crystal Friedman said. “But once they go to the dance, I think they will enjoy it.”

Stuco has been working since late this summer to get everything planned and put together. According to junior Briona Morris, homecoming is a great time and a really fun experience.

“Our last two themes were very interesting,” Morris said. “I think this year’s theme will be interesting [as well] and I can’t wait to see the decorations.”
