Brittany Lounsbury shares her thoughts on homework over break

fun-time-134 Homework over fall break is like trying to get a baby to listen or like not getting a present on Christmas day. It’s frustrating and disappointing.

Some teachers assign assignments that would take all week to do and there goes your Fall Break. Therefore, all of the information goes in one ear and out the other. Plus it’s called a break for a reason; it’s a BREAK from school and not time to give us a week long assignment that we’re most likely not going to do anyway. Some teachers need to understand that we are just kids and we can only do so much and be a kid all at the same time. Adults always say “Don’t grow up too fast.” Well how can we when we have homework over a so called “break?” We can’t.
