Another hat day is planned for Friday, Oct. 30. Volunteer Knights will once again be hosting a day for students to wear their hats to school. Volunteer Knights hasn’t yet decided where the money will go. They are hoping this hat day will be a greater success than the last.
“[Last hat day] we made $358,” Volunteer Knights sponsor, Kellie Hausner said. “We normally make $700-800.”
It will cost $1 to wear a hat, and the students and faculty will be given a spider ring when they pay. The next hat day will be sometime around Christmas.
“I really like [hat day] because because the money goes to charity, ” sophomore Alyssa Miller said.
