In their Halloween best, nine members of FCCLA distributed boo grams all the children at Henderson Elementary yesterday at 3 p.m.
“It was very fun because the little kids were so excited and just to see their face made my day,” senior member Kayla Conoyer said.
Each child got a written boo gram as well as a sucker. The same boo gram have been for sale to students at North for the past two weeks. This concept is done not only to raise money but also to give back.
“We did it just as a community service project,” sponsor Becky Just said.
Giving the boo grams to Henderson was something new for FCCLA this year but they have plans to continue it. The well like event was fun for FCCLA members, who got to dress up and also fun for the kids who get to start their Halloween early.
“Most likey [we will continue] it was such a great exoerience and it will help in years to come,” Conoyer said.
