DECA shows appreciation for teachers, administrators

On Nov. 9, DECA students are honoring those who work at FHN. It’s Administration Appreciation Day.

“We want to show our support to those who support DECA when we are gone on conferences or need help,” DECA sponsor Melissa Trochim said.

This year, DECA has two plans. First, they are going to distribute cookies to all the administrators, teachers, and administrative support staff. Secondly, every time a DECA student thanks a teacher or administer, the student will receive cookies.

DECA member Maddy Millikan thinks Administration Appreciation Day is important.

“[It’s important to] thank the teachers for being role models and teaching us,” Millikan said.
