Superintendent Renee Schuster, has decided to leave Francis Howell District after being in the district for four years. Schuster is leaving the district with her husband so they both can find jobs in a new area.
To retire Schuster needs to propose her retirement to the Board, which then needed to approve her proposal. It was approved by a 6-0 vote, meaning everyone agreed to allow Schuster to retire. Schuster has a contract that was not up until…. and that’s why a vote was needed. Schuster will complete this school year before someone else takes over her position.
“It was very exciting [the year],” Schuster said. “We have a lot of excellent leaders at all levels and it was exciting helping everyone move the district in a positive direction.”
