On Nov. 17 at 7 pm, Francis Howell North alumni Brryan Jackson held a benefit concert for AIDS/HIV awareness. Held at Francis Howell High School Auditorium, tickets were only $6 for the event, called Hope Is Vital.
Doors opened at 6:30 pm at the Howell High Auditorium. Numerous bands performed, including “Fighting For Friday”, “The Perfect Wonderful”, and “Flannel Friend”.
After enjoying live music and entertainment, Jackson took time to explain his life story to the audience.
“It [Jackson’s speech] really hit close to the heart,” senior Kelsey Roberts said.
Jackson’s organization has continuously been growing throughout the past years.
