On Dec. 4 and 5 the Wrestling team will be competing in one of their first tournaments at Parkway South.
“I feel very optimistic, I’ll be disappointed if we’re not in the top two,” Coach Chris Brown said. “I think we’ll match up well this year though.”
Sophomore Devin Mundy thinks the tournament will be fun this year and said they have ‘lots of practice and hard work’. The wrestling team practices for two and a half hours every day except Sunday.
“It’s all right,” Junior Brandon Goggin said about the tournament. “Last year I got killed but this year I’m a lot better.”
The coach and team are excited for the new promising season.
“I’d like to get as much support from the school as possible and we’ll try to make it entertaining,” Brown said.
