Thank you for taking an interest in the student publications of Francis Howell North High School. We have been very busy this year building upon the foundation that has been set the last few years. We have some great things to come and are glad you have taken this step to potentially become a member of our team.

Deadlines and details are very important in the world of journalism. MAKE SURE YOU READ THROUGH ALL DIRECTIONS AND NOTE DATES ASSOCIATED WITH THE APPLICATION PROCESS. Failure to meet the given deadlines will most likely strike a fatal blow to your application. Details are important as well. Make sure to read the entire application. Not only is this crucial so you are able to fill things out correctly, it’s also important so you know what you are getting yourself into.

For this application, there are essentially three things you need to do.

1. Fill out the online application form for GENERAL STAFF MEMBERS below. If you are applying to be an editor, also fill out Part II for editors.
2. Download and read the form I’ve linked here and have a parent/guardian sign it.
3. Turn in form in item #2 AND two samples of your work (this can be writing, design, photography, Web pages you’ve created, etc.)
