The Newspaper Association of America revisited a study that looked at high school journalism programs. Their published findings show a positive link between high school journalism and academic achievement. The study found student who work on a high school newspaper or yearbook tend to get better grades in high school, earn higher scores on the ACT and get better grades as college freshmen.
