On Jan. 11-12 Frau Fest auditions were held in the auditorium. Each band played two songs of their own choice to perform in front of Anne McPartland and the German Club officers.
“You’ve got to get permission slips from all the band members, then you have to sign up for a time, and then all the bands try out over two days from 5-7 p.m. both nights,” senior band member of Screaming Glory Eddy Connell said.
There were about ten bands that auditioned to perform in Frau Fest. The bands will find out if they will perform in Frau Fest sometime this week by a phone call. Many people are feeling optimistic about this year’s Frau Fest performances.
“I think that this year will be one of the better years,” senior band member of Prestige Worldwide Robby Friedlein said. “I think there is a better variety of music and styles this year than in years past.”
