Cheerleaders host clinic

cheerclinic_1 On Jan. 23 Varsity, JV and Freshman cheerleaders gathered in the big gym with 41 kids, grades K-8, for their cheerleading Kiddie Clinic. During the clinic, cheerleaders taught the kids some of their cheers such as: Jump Shake Your Booty, Reaching out for Number One, Go Big Knights, and Take it to the Hoop.

“I think [the kids] learned a lot and had fun,” JV cheerleader Dylan Thayer said.

The cheerleaders taught the kids their routine to “Tik Tok” by Ke$ha. The

Cheerleaders and the Kiddie Clinic kids will be performing this routine at the home boys varsity basketball game on Friday Jan. 29 at 7, against Fort Zumwalt South.

“The kids liked it because they were excited and cheerleading is awesome,” JV cheerleader Katey Schulte said.
