On Saturday Jan. 30 Both Knightline squads (J.V. and Varsity) went to St. Charles High School to compete in a competition. Varsity Knightline performed two routines a hip-hop routine choreographed by Holly Edmondson and a novelty routine choreographed by Maggie Jasper and the Knightline coaches. Many different schools attended the competition.
“There were a lot of schools I honestly couldn’t name all of them but there are usually around 100,” Varsity Knighline dancer Lauren Buxton said.
Varsity Knightline performed and placed second for their hip-hop routine and 1st place for their novelty routine. Knightline practiced a lot during the week before competition. They practiced every morning at six a.m. and every afternoon until five p.m.
“I’m proud of the team, we did really well,” Buxton said.
