On Saturday, Feb. 13 StuCo put on the annual FHN snowcoming dance. The theme for this years dance was Arctic rush which was tied in with the theme of last years dance which was blizzard blackout.
The dance had all the perks of last years dance such as black-lights, Tekno Bubbles, splatter paint, food, and refreshments along with this years new decorations and color scheme to make it actually feel like arctic rush.
“There were things hanging from the ceiling and the walls were glowing,” said sophomore Amber Robertson. “It was really cool.”
Although there was a whole new look, the outcome of this years dance was much less than last years. While last year’s dance had about 800 students who attended, this years had roughly 400.
“It seemed a lot more empty than last year,” said sophomore Sarah Bruce. “But I still had fun with it.”
