“I enjoy dressing up for spirit week to show that i have school spirit,” sophomore Ariel Jensen said.” It’s a lot of fun, especially on class color day to go all out.”
Although the snow days hurt Spirit Week, students got back into the swing of things as Wednesday came around and students and staff dressed for types of salad dressing, such as wearing; southern attire, for Ranch dressing, or putting a picture of cheese on their shirt, coloring it blue and calling themselves blue cheese. Thursday wasn’t as powerful as the other days, but still had its fair share of “bling” around as Ice Out Day had students deck out in jewelry and white clothes to look like icicles.
When Friday came, students went all out in class colors from head to toe. Purple, green, maroon(pink and red too), as well as blue were parading down all the halls of FHN.
“Seeing all the students dressed all crazy is my favorite,” StuCo sponsor, and teacher Jani Wilkens said.
To pump up the spirit at FHN, and get everyone ready for the dance on Saturday the 13, Spirit Week has always done the job.
“I really love just seeing everybody get into it(Spirit Week),” chief of staff, Alyssa Bocci said. “And just having fun.”
