“I think we’ve all worked really hard since the beginning of the summer to get the site to where it is now,” web editor David Hoehn said. “I think we earned it.”
After CSPA announces their finalist, they then announce which school received a gold crown or a silver crown, which are one of their major awards. FHNtoday.com will find out what crown award they receive on March 14.
“I was very excited when I found out [about being a finalist],” Digital Media Editor-In-Chief Kaite O’Neil said. “I found out through Manfull, he sent me a link through twitter. It was kind of funny because no one was around and then I just started jumping around.”
You can go onto their website for a list of their finalist. There were 27 finalists nation wide. FHN was not the only finalist in our district, FHHS was a finalist as well.
“It’s always exciting to win awards,” O’Neil said. “We don’t do our work just to get awards, but it’s nice to know someone else like what your doing.”
