On Saturday March 13 from 9 a.m. until noon the St. Louis Zoo is holding a job fair for spring, summer, and fall jobs. Students age 15 and older can apply. The job fair will give information on the jobs and a chance for a screening interview. Some jobs available are engineers and conductors for the Zoo Railroad, catering, groundskeepers, gardeners, gift shop attendants, and parking lot attendants. 

“I think it would be cool to work there because you would be able to see all of the animals up close,” junior Kurtis Duncan said. 

Teacher Ron Ochu feels even though it is a good opportunity you shouldn’t simply apply on a whim. 

“Yes I think any job opportunity is good,” teacher Ochu said. “The zoo is further away so it may cost more money but it depends on what you want the job for. If you just want a job then it might not be the best for you, but if you are doing it for experience or to have a job with a good organization then it might be good. I think it would be a great experience.”
