On Friday, April 16, the Mr. FHN competition will be held in the Auditorium at 6 p.m.

The Mr. FHN competition is a male beauty pageant. This year the competitors are raising money for charities; all the males involved in the pageant will sponsor a different charity. There will be around 13 participants in the Mr. FHN competition.

“My Mr. FHN name is Mr. McLovin’,” senior Dylan Henry said. “I’m doing an old Johnny Carson skit, but I’m looking forward to the Q&A because it’s a lot of fun and gets you to think on your feet.”

To enter the pageant, the males volunteered. All members involved perform a choreographed dance, and all must wear a sash which displays their Mr. FHN name.

The competitors must also perform a talent, the group dance, an athletic wear and informal wear portion, and give on the spot answers in the Q&A. Some talents that may be performed are singing, dancing, skits, playing instruments and more.

The winner of the Mr. FHN competition will receive a cash prize.

“I like the group dance they all do,” sponsor of StuCo, Jani Wilkens said.” It will be a good fun night that raises money for charity.”
