On May 5 in the commons the Secret Scholars, which had been unknown for teachers all year, were revealed. Any teacher can participate and any senior NHS member can choose to participate.
“It was so much fun because it was just funny to see the reaction the treacher had when they found out who their secret scholar was,” NHS secretary Jose Pagan said.
There were about 40 teachers and 40 seniors at the luncheon. Even with so many people there, the event still seemed to go as planned.
“For me I thought it went really well,” NHS member Sam Newton said. “I really liked my secret scholar [Lisa Pentecost]. She was super nice and really easy to talk to. In general I think the whole lunch went well. It ran really smoothly. There was good food, and I think everyone had a good time.”
