Today and this past week marked the last day and the last week the senior class of 2010 had to show off their school spirit.

“We wanted everybody to get involved with it,” senior class president Soo Yang said. “With this being the last spirit week, we tried to make it fun for everybody.”

For spirit week Monday was senior clothes day, Tuesday was college day, where seniors wore clothes of the colleges they are attending next year, Wednesday was senior citizen day, Thursday was fresh-to-death day, and Friday was bonfire shirt day, along with the KOE picnic day.

“I think just from the number of shirts I saw it went well,” senior class sponsor Kim Rastberger said. “I was happy with how things went.”

Due to inclement weather today, the senior class bonfire will also be rescheduled from tonight to May 21. Despite the cancellation, many seniors still felt that this week was a success.

“Some of the stuff for the days I didn’t have,” senior Stephanie Agre said. “I didn’t have stuff for senior citizen day, but it was a fun week.”
