Do you know what would be a cool way to cool down this summer? Just go to the new frozen custard facility on O’Fallon Road!

Deters is new to this area, it used to be located in Winghaven. Deters switched locations because they wanted a bigger location to have more costumers.

It opened up in late March, and business is going very well for them.

“We have a fun environment, really great staff that work here and delicious custards,” manger Amber Menne, said.

Deters most common custard that they sell is Mill Creek Turtle. Besides all the custards they have, they also serve hot dogs, donuts, and coffee.

Another hot item that they have is their famous Frito chili pie dog, which contains Fritos, chili, cheese and onions. Their prices are fairly cheap with hot dogs for $2.49 and custard ranging from $1.29 to $3.99.

“If someone wanted to get something on a hot day, I would recommend Deters,” Renee Tolliver said.

Tolliver later tells that Deters is going to become and every other day thing for her and her family.
