The summer is a time for relaxation, outdoor fun and traveling. For some, this means going to another state or visiting family on the west coast. But, for sophomore Ryan Jeppesen, this summer will not just be about amusement parks and backyard barbecues. For him and his family, Europe will be their vacation destination.
“I like traveling because you are able to see new places and new things,” Jeppesen said. “I like the adventure and experiencing different things.”
Jeppesen and his family will be traveling to Rome and Venice in Italy, Paris in France and London in England. The family will be leaving June 2 and will be gone for almost two weeks. Jeppesen has never gone out of the country, so he is really looking forward to the experience.
“I’m looking forward to going to Italy,” Jeppesen said. “There are a ton of famous buildings there and the country has a lot of history. Many important events took place there. I am really excited for the trip overall.”
