Where’s a better place to go than somewhere with warm weather, gorgeous beaches, and is known as “The Sunshine State?”

With a wide variety of activities to do and being one of the most popular places to go for summer vacation, Florida says it all.

“My favorite thing about Florida is the scenery. It is so different from here in Missouri. It’s really flat, humid, and warm year round near the beach,” sophomore Jared Paulsen said.

If you are one of those people who likes adventures, to have fun, and be laid back all at the same time, this may be the perfect place for you to go.

There are so many places in Florida, each unique in there own way. There are also numerous activities to do, both indoor and outdoor.

Some common activities include, boating, snorkeling, kayaking, tanning and swimming.

“If you wanna have a great experience, Florida is the place to go. The sites are amazing. The sun sets while your sitting on the beach and hearing the waves,” Freshman Victoria Miller said. “It’s really one of the best things. Make sure you wear sun screen because if your like me you will get burned. The everglades being right next to the alligators is something you could never forget.”
