Fritz takes students on adventure

On June 15, eight students will be boarding a plane to travel over 4,300 miles to Europe for 10 days with French teacher, David Fritz for a summer vacation. Fritz started taking students to Europe over 20 years ago for them to experience the language first hand using ACIS Trips.

“[I decided to take students] just to share the European culture and it’s an opportunity to use the language in real situations,” Fritz said.

The students arrive in Madrid, Spain and from there they travel to South France which includes Biarritz, France and finally end in Paris, France on June 24. They will have both a tour guide and do some sightseeing on their own. Some of the places they plan on touring is the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the underground basilica at the Valley of the Fallen which is located in Madrid. The students will also get to understand the different countries’ atmosphere by going in local shops and cafes.

“Im most excited to see another part of the world and experience another country’s culture,” junior Kieran Myers said.
