You’ve made it to sophomore year. You can no longer be called a freshman and are comfortable at school, unless you are Freshman Morgan Highfill. Her sophomore year will be spent at a new school in another country.
“My dad told me, ‘get your mom and sister, I need to tell you something’,” Morgan said. “He told us, ‘I’ve been transferred’.”
The Highfill family will be moving to the Netherlands in August. Morgan will not only have to adapt to a new school but must learn to a new language – Dutch.
“I’m looking forward to traveling and going to different places,” Morgan’s mom Joyce Highfill said. “I’m not looking forward to learning Dutch.”
Morgan has made many new friends during her Freshman year at North. Although her friends will miss her, they are excited for her to have a once in a lifetime experience.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity, but I will miss her very much,” Zoe Ridenhower 9 said.
Morgan Highfill will be attending ASH. More details at http://www.ash.nl/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=99&Itemid=410M
