Fingers and toes. For most everyone they have all ten fingers and all ten toes, but For senior Colleen Kellet she only has nine and half fingers. Kellet on her left hand only has half a thumb. Although unusual the loss doesn’t faze Kellet.
“It’s something I don’t even notice,” Kellet said.” It’s just a part of me.”
In middle school Kellet was involved in horrible accident in which her finger got trapped in a dog leashed that was attached to a dog larger then her. The dog ran and her finger went with him.
“When it happened I just started screaming O-M-G O-M-G,Kellet said. ” I didn’t know what to do I was afraid.”
Some are weirded out by the missing finger at first, but after while the shock disappears.
“When I first saw it before we were really friend it kind of freaked me out,” friend Ryan Block said. “But after we became friends it did not bother me anymore. I forget it isn’t there.”
