For Francis Howell North graduate Grant Dale-Derks and Fort Zumwalt South graduate JoJo Hutton their summer is expected to be filled with many activities before they head to college. Dale-Derks plans to attend the University of Missoui – Kansas City while Hutton plans to attend the University of Hawaii. With them separating came the idea of a summer bucket list filled with many risky activities.
“I’ve always wanted to do things like skydiving and bungee jump,” Dale-Derks said. “I am becoming like an adrenaline junkie. We are doing this because Jo is leaving next year for Hawaii and we’ve been friends for awhile.”
The guys have already been on road trips to Chicago, Florida and Branson, went skydiving and raced corvettes. On their list to do is bungee jumping and zip lining which they already have the dates marked down. The plan to go zip lining on May 22 and are planning to bungee jump sometime in June.
“I think it [bungee jumping] would be a great rush to have,” Hutton said. “Anything that is dangerous sounds like an adventure and bungee jumping would be just that.”
