Meet me at the Muny

themuny “Meet me at the Muny the Muny at Forest Park!” The Muny has been a part of St.Louis since June 2,1917. It has been a place for live theater, family, and tourist for 93 years. This summer the Muny is host to a variety of different theatrical productions. Beauty and the Beast, Titanic-the musical, Damn Yankees, Cats, The Sound of Music, Footloose, and Show Boat will all be preformed at the Muny starting June 21 and ending August 9.

“It’s a great place to enjoy the theater and you can hang out with your friends there,” FHN Drama club member Sarai Womack said.

Along with performances the Muny also offers additions to local performers, behind the stage tours and free seats in the back. Not only does The Muny offer a night of fun for a low price but also an outdoor theatre accompanied by a wonderful live performances.
