Win Black Eyed Peas concert tickets

Purchase a 2010-2011 Excalibur yearbook from Francis Howell North High School by 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, and you could win two GA Floor seats to see the Black Eyed Peas in Concert at the Scottrade Center on Saturday, August. 14.

FHNtoday.com has two tickets to the concert and will be giving them away. One winner will be chosen at random from all students who purchase yearbooks. The winner will be drawn Thursday and you can see who wins that evening on FHNtoday.com.

The winner will be chosen at random from all students who have purchased yearbooks or who have earned a free yearbook by turning in cookie dough forms and money by 3:30 p.m. CST on August 12.

Yearbooks can be purchased at registration, in the main office or in room 026. Cookie dough forms must be turned in at registration to the yearbook table or after registration to room 026.

The 2010-2011 Excalibur yearbook can be purchased for $50 at registration.

Contest Rules:

  • The contest,  “Buy a Yearbook, Win Black Eyed Peas Tickets,” is open to all members of the Francis Howell North community; student or staff, with the exception of publications members.
  • All valid entrants will be eligible for the grand prize drawing of 2 Black Eyed Peas tickets for their August 14 show at Scottrade Center. The winner will be announced on FHNtoday.com the evening of Thursday, August 12. Tickets will be given to the winner on Friday, August 13. The winner will need to provide their own transportation and any other costs for the event.
  • FHNtoday.com is not responsible for the event or what goes on at it.
  • Participants become eligible for the random drawing by purchasing a 2010-2011 FHN Excalibur yearbook. Purchasing includes, but is not limited to: paying $50 for the book or earning a free yearbook through the “Cookie Dough Fundraiser.”
  • Purchases must be completed by 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12 to be eligible. Cookie Dough forms must be turned in at that time as well to become eligible.
  • No purchases made or cookie dough forms turned in after Thursday, August 12 will be eligible for the 2 tickets.
    • By participating each entrant agrees to abide by these rules and decision of adviser, judges, and editorial board.
    • All results are final and binding in all aspects relating to the contest.
    • Adviser and editorial board have the right to release and distribute all entrances to the world wide web through FHNtoday.com or by links through other social networks such as YouTube, myspace, or facebook
    • Entrant must agree to the use of his or her name for contest entry to be granted, and likenesses to the student body and the worldwide web by the adviser and editorial board without limitation, notification, or additional permission or consent.
    • Entrant must agree to the use of entry for promotion purposes and for use in future events.
    • Adviser and editorial board are not responsible for lost, damaged, inaccurate, inaudible, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, destroyed or stolen entries or votes.
    • Adviser or editorial board is not responsible for entries that fail to either reach the sponsor processing system, or that are processed late or incorrectly for any reason.
    • Adviser and/or editorial board may disqualify anyone from participating in the contest or winning the prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that such person is attempting or has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the contest by cheating, deception or other unfair playing practices, or is attempting to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or sponsor’s representatives or is otherwise in violation of these official rules.
    • Adviser and editorial board reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the contest should causes beyond the control of sponsor corrupt the administration or proper play of contest, and if terminated, in its sole discretion, sponsor is applicable to make changes in the voting process or to cancel all previous votes before the time of impairment.
    • Each entry must agree to and abide by all the general rules listed above.

Contest Guidelines:

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.
  • If cookie dough forms are turned in, a free book must be earned to become eligible for the contest.

Judging:

  • The grand prize winner will be blindly drawn out of all purchases by 7 p.m. Thursday, August 12.

Prizes:

  • Only one grand prize winner will be named.
  • The grand winner only will receive 2 general admission floor tickets to see the Black Eyed Peas in Concert at the Scottrade Arena in St. Louis.
  • The contest winner will be announced on August 12 on FHNtoday.com and in the school announcements on Friday, August 13.
  • The prize can be picked up in room 026.
  • If the grand price winner has not claimed tickets by 1 p.m. on Friday, August 13, a new winner will be drawn.
  • FHN nor the Francis Howell School District are responsible for any lost, stolen or defects of the prize after being received by the grand prize winner.
