Ellen Hopkins’ newest book Fallout goes along with her previous books Crank and Glass. The point of view is switched from Kristina to three of her children; Hunter, Autumn, and Summer. I believe Fallout is a good read. However, don’t try to read it without having read the others or you will be terribly lost. I think Fallout gives us a good look at how the lives of those around illegal drug users are affected. It doesn’t have a happy ending. However, it doesn’t have a sad ending either. There really is no ending, since Ellen Hopkin’s Crank series is about real lives. I guess you could say it’s a cliffhanger and you just have to make your own ending the way you think things will turn out for them. So if you like cliffhangers, read this book!
