A “Sanctuary” is more than just a home

When you would think all of your favorite T.V. shows are back on and in full swing for the holidays, Syfy yet again brings another show back to “wow” audiences.

Syfy’s original series “Sanctuary” is back for it’s third season with all new adventures, monsters, and mysteries. Sanctuary is about a group of individuals called ‘abnormals’, basically people with superpowers or monster like creatures, who are fighting a war against other abnormals in the human world. If you’ve ever heard any myth’s about monsters, for instance Bigfoot, these people would go out looking to find and possibly save them from being oppressed or killed in a safe house called The Sanctuary, which seems like it’s a fancy zoo.

More than just finding abnormals, the story also follows a young man named Will Zimmerman (Robin Dunne) and Dr. Helen Magnus (Amanda Tapping also starring in Stargate) who have adopted Will into their family of friends and abnormals due to his ability to be human, since he is the only one in the Sanctuary that is.

Through the intense action, crazy monsters and quests, the show really does get the attention of the viewers with a story that really is abnormal. Sanctuary premieres every Friday on Syfy, and gets a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.
