Now being fourth in state, the Howell North hockey team sure has stepped up their game compared to years past. On Monday, Jan. 17 the North Knights will play against the Howell Vikings and once again prove that they are the better team. With the score of 7 to 0 at Gold Cup and another game against them with the score of 6 to 1, the game coming up seems to be a sure win. Although not everyone feels that way due to certain complications.
“Honestly I think were going to play like crap because we haven’t actually practiced as a full team since last Tuesday,” Michael Pavolka.
Don’t let this discourage you though. The team may feel like they are not as united as they have been in games passed, but they are certainly not going to let this next game get away from them. A game is a game for these boys and playing against Howell just makes them want to do even better no matter the circumstances.
“We’ll win but it will be a closer game that the last two. There’s no way we’ll let Howell win,” said Drew Ortscheid.
