The story that created James Bond

Ever since Ian Flemming wrote his books series with the ever-so classic character we all know and love, not all of his books were made into working titles. In 2006, MGM released a movie in a series that would not only change, but shed light on how everything began with the well known, iconic hero, James Bond.

Casino Royale” was the first novel written by Ian Fleming to introduce us to the character of James Bond, a secret agent for the British Intelligence Agency known as MI-6. Through all of this movie you see Bond (played by Daniel Craig) develop in his ways from being “the new guy” to the  charming, cold-blooded killer we see in the past movies. The movie was intentionally the first installment in a trilogy that spans the story line of Bond finding out about an organization of terrorists, who presumably operate all over the world, infiltrating them, and taking them down.

The series spans into the second movie named “Quantum of Solace” in which Daniel Craig reprises his role as Bond in Italy to seek out a smaller sect in the terrorist organization who have been discovered due to recent information that Bond receives on an intelligence mission.

Overall the series is always action-packed and entertaining with fight scenes, intense chase scenes (that are not confusing believe it or not) and a gripping story line that will always keep you on the edge of your seat. Be sure to look for the third installment that will be released the summer of 2012.
