AT&T Broadband Caps

Starting Monday, the 2nd of May, AT&T will be imposing data caps on the amount of data its users can use. That is 150 Gb for DSL users and 250 Gb for Uverse subscribers. This is just ridiculous It also means that I won’t be able to stream all the movies and TV Shows I want off of Netflix or Hulu or use Pandora all the time. I believe that this is AT&T just getting greedy.

They already charge if you go over 2 Gb on their 3G network with phones. I cannot stand that they’re now limiting their own service to us. And with AT&T doing this there are few ISPs that are not charging if you go over the limit. This should be very frustrating to anyone who uses the internet a lot. Sure, 150 GB is a lot of data, but with streaming, downloading music or just simply using the web, one can quickly pass that limit.
