Tonight Concert Band and Symphonic Band will have their winter concert in the auditorium. Parents, friends, and music admirers alike will come and listen to and watch them as they play.
“I’m looking forward to seeing how all the music comes together,” Symphonic band percussionist Amber Rollins said. “I get really nervous but we never give a terrible performance.”
The concert will take place in FHN’s auditorium at 7pm. Both bands will get a chance to show off what they’ve been practicing for.
“ They’ve worked diligently,” Band Director Jeff Moorman said of his students’ hard work.
Along with in-class practicing, students have also practiced at home.
“I think I have a little more practicing to do,” Concert band trumpet player Julia Lewis said. “I’ll probably be ready. [I’ve had] lots of practicing with my dad. He plays trumpet along with me.”
