Rock Climbing at Sports Fusion

Sp center 2

Opened in March of 2009 by co-owner and manager Greg Hoffmann, Sports Fusion is a multipurpose recreational facility in Chesterfield, Missouri.  The center was built to give kids and teens something fun to do, but also being athletic in nature.

“We wanted to give kids a fun place  to hangout and have fun, but was more active then a movie or playing video games.” Hoffmann said.

The faultily most popular game is a 2,500 ft, 2-story, urban warfare themed laser tag arena. Each game can have up to 40 players and can be split into any number of teams.

“Most people are scared at first, but after a game or two most people really enjoy it,” Hoffmann said.

The Rock climbing wall is another big attraction for Sports Fusion. The wall is 20 ft tall and can hold up to four people. It uses a auto-belay system to keep its climber safe in case they lose there grip.

“Not our most popular item, but it is a good advertising piece and it’s fun,” Hoffmann said.

Sports Fusion has other attractions including a glass encased dodge ball arena, a mini-basketball and volleyball court,  a 18-hole indoor mini-golf course and a 35-game arcade. The faculty also holds private events like  lock-ins for birthdays, school and church functions, or fundraisers.

“With events we lay out food and when everyone arrives we lock the doors and the group has the place to themselves,” Hoffmann said.

Overall sports fusion was built to be a fun and great place for anyone of all ages.
