9-12 Freshman Softball Vs. Howell [Photo Gallery]

The freshman Knights took on Howell at home on Sep 12. The score was tied 4-4 at the end of the seventh inning. The Knights left the field after the extended game dusty but victorious. The final score was 6-4.
“I was nervous,” Freshman Olivia Schindler said. “I was more into the game at that point, cause I wanted us to win.”
The Knights will next fight in the Fort Zumwalt West tournament on Sep. 14. Schindler feels like the team can move on and get better in future games.
“I think we made some simple mistakes,” Schindler said. “It cost us some games, but once we work together I think we can win.” (shot by ashleigh jenkins)
