The Francis Howell North Knights junior varsity soccer team defeated the Francis Howell Central Spartans on Thursday, September 19th with a final score of 3-0. When asked how he felt the game had gone, Coach Olwig stated, “We started off slow but we did get a goal in the first half, and a couple more in the second half and kept the pressure on” Andrew O’Donnell scored the first goal, Connor Crain scored the second, and Javier Alvarado scored the third and final goal of the game, finalizing the Knights’ victory over the Spartans. After the game ended, team member Tsoi Tran stated, “We played as a team, and won as a team” when asked what the team had done well to win. (photos by paige martinez)
