On Sep. 27, Emcees seniors Sofia Quintana and Joe Henke lead FHN’s students and staff during the Fall Pep Assembly held in the big gym to celebrate the Fall Sports season and cheer on the Varsity Football team on as they face Francis Howell Central tonight for the Homecoming game. Many games were played, which included “Human Shuffleboard” and a “Race to the Beach” where representatives from each sport competed in scuba flippers and a flotation device.

The juniors took top spot in the “Human Shuffleboard Game” while the Cross Country team took the crown the “Race to the Beach”. Bethany Steck was in the blanket the juniors slid across the gym. “I knew I was gonna win. I only weigh like 91 pounds. Everyone else weighs like 100.”

The seniors screamed and cheered to assert their dominance over the juniors in the “Fall Spirit Meter”. The seniors were officially announced as the winners of the competition.
