Knightline Hosts Annual Nike Sale

Friday, Nov. 22 marks the jump off for Knightline’s annual Nike Sale that will last three days. Friday is 2:20 p.m.-9 p.m., Saturday 9 p.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The sale will take place in the commons at school.

“I’m happy that the sale is three days long because it gives people more than just one day to do some shopping,” Head Coach, Tammy Rokita said.

The sale is held so that people are able to do some holiday shopping and help Knightline pay for outfits, Nationals, and other things that the team might need.

“The dates we choose, which is always around this time is perfect because people can get their holiday shopping in and it really helps with our funds for the team,” Rokita said.

The customers who attended had good things to say as well.

“I really just love the Nike sale because it’s right in time for some early Christmas shopping and it’s 50 percent off,” junior Shelby Wiebe said. “You just can’t beat it.”

One improvement that some wish could be made is a better variety of women’s sporting clothes. But besides that, the customers once again, loved the sale.

Although the Nike sale seems to be easy to organize, a lot goes into the year advance planning of the sale. The knightline parents help with fundraisers and have monthly meetings to get everything together.

“The parents help me out so much, they do most of everything for me and I don’t have to worry about too much,” Rokita said. “They get our date slot and everything done ahead of time so when it comes time for the Nike sale, we have no worries.”
